ABOUT ME
I graduated with a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Nairobi, Kenya, an MSc in Molecular Biology from the Free University of Brussels, Belgium, and a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Iowa, US. My PhD background was in the field of breast cancer while my postdoctoral training at Emory University was studying epithelial-mesenchymal transition in prostate cancer. I continue to work in the areas of breast and prostate cancer including health disparities.
